Impossible is Fiction

I often get asked how I became top 1% of all Upwork freelancers in such a short amount of time. The truth? It wasn’t some magic formula or overnight success. It was pure hustle and tons of trial and error.

From 2007 – 2020, I worked multiple 9-5 office jobs (customer service, web & graphic design, etc..), whatever it took to pay the bills and keep my recording studio running. But life’s funny; while working my last office job, I picked up some serious eCommerce skills. Had no clue this would be so valuable in the future.

I was getting by, but was far from hitting my financial goals. Then COVID hit! Office? Never went back. Bills? Not taking a break for pandemics. All of this chaos hit in the middle of planning my wedding. Will never forget that feeling of uncertainty.

Looking for additional income, I discovered Upwork! My first gig? $15/hour. Even at that rate, I knew I would never work a 9-5 again. As I focused on growing my freelancing business, I made the tough call to close my recoding studio down. That shift fueled my hustle, and today, I’m charging 5x my old rate! That income became my path to financial freedom, letting me invest in assets while returning to the studio and now doing the best work of my career. Sometimes you pause a passion to build a stronger future. I’m living proof that IMPOSSIBLE is Fiction!

Here’s the thing – I’m no genius. I saw an opportunity, hustled, learned from my mistakes, leveled up, and never gave up. So, if you’re feeling stuck, remember: there are other options out there.
